Who Valley V-Twin is...

George & Halle Fetty - Owners
Andrew Fetty & Lexie Fetty (our kids - who both also happen to have their M1 endorsement & are graduates of the Coachella Valley Motorcycle Training classes here in the desert!)
Andrew is an often employed SAG and AFTRA actor (we've seen him on CSI Miami/Vegas, The Office, Brothers & Sisters, Rizzoli & Isles, Saving Grace, Hawthorn, RN, The Tooth Fairy movie, and lots, lots more!). He's our inspiration to make sure your helmet FITS...ask us if you don't know his story...we're happy to share.
Lexie teaches elementary and middle school kids Colorguard basics and choreographs their shows - and is aiming towards a career as a teacher. She's also an "Age Out" member of the "14 Time World Champion" Blue Devils Drum & Bugle Corps. She's a 3 time World Champion, and 2 time Silver Medalist as a member of the Blue Devils. She is a face character at Disneyland  - as Ariel, Rapunzel, Aurora, Cinderella, Snow White and Mary Poppins - so we can honestly say our daughter IS a Princess!

We've lived in the desert for over 24 years...(Halle is a true Desert Rat - lived here as a child and came back as a grownup!)

Halle is still searching for Laverne's (1997 Road King) replacement, but has a Buell to play with!

George is a Riding Instructor/Coach for the CMSP, spent 17 years as a service technician (fancy name for mechanic!) & Service Manager for Ford, and is happiest when he's wrenching in the shop!

Halle spent many years as a Radio Broadcaster (fancy name for a DJ) and is a computer geek, an Assistant Instructor for Accident Scene Management, Inc., a member of the Indio CERT team, RACES (Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services), and is a Disaster Service Worker. She is an active and proud Motorcycle Safety & Awareness guru-ess!

The History of Valley V-Twin...

Valley V-Twin opened in 2003...in a 900 square foot shop on Perez Road...hidden in the industrial area in Cathedral City. We originally planned to "just sell beautiful bikes", but found that we needed and wanted to offer more - like helmets, leathers, all the good stuff that any rider needs...and we found sources who could help us keep our prices competitive with the big stores.  It wasn't long before we outgrew our space...

With the rising cost of gas, we decided to investigate bringing in scooters...cheap to buy, cheap to run, easy to ride...but every company we spoke with required us to have our own service and parts department - and we had no physical room to grow...so we canned the idea.

In October 2005, our landlords told us that they had sold their business and the new owners were moving into a new location...and would be selling leathers, helmets, boots, etc...and eventually would sell pre-owned bikes too.  Yikes! Wake up call!!  We hit the streets and found an old, beat up, trash filled 2,700 square foot jewel on Indio Blvd (used to be the Windsor Auto Parts store for you Desert Rats!)...and 4 months (and four 40' roll-off trash containers) later we moved in, lock, stock and barrel.  We closed our Cathedral City shop on January 15th and re-opened in our new location on February 1st, 2006.  The move gave us the opportunity to add those scooters we wanted...and after tons of research, we chose to become KYMCO USA dealers. The quality of the vehicles, the support they give dealers (which translates to great customer support...no waiting for parts or information!!), and the pricing of those vehicles made the decision a no-brainer. 

Our shop carries a full line of leather/denim/mesh riding apparel, gloves, boots, jewelry, belts, biker wallets, stickers, pins, home accessories, hot & cold weather gear, kid's clothing and accessories, helmets, sunglasses and goggles, hats...AND...parts and accessories for almost every kind of bike, plus part & accessory installation & service - all at prices lower than you'd expect!
