Kim's Korner
Boots!
We all know that having grippy, over the ankle boots are a must when riding, right? The biggest problem has been finding boots that look good - and feel good. Guess what? We just got in a bunch of Milwaukee boots in new styles - including a very cool cowboy style ladies boot in distressed brown! Don't worry guys, we've got you covered in three new styles - one especially perfect for sportbike riders. Not into the boot look? We've got one that looks like a hightop tennis shoe - but has the protection you want and need in a riding boot. Come check em out!

George's Garage
Now that it costs me over $20 to fill my tank I want to make sure I can do everything to stretch my mileage.
The easiest and fastest way is to maintain the air pressure in your tires!!  The pressure should average 36 in the front, and 40 in the rear. Make sure you check the recommended pressure in your owner's manual, and don't exceed the max pressure printed on the sides of your tires.
If you're in doubt, and in Indio, come on by. I'll check them and fill them at no charge to you. Not only will you save on gas, but properly inflated tires are SAFER for you.

Biker Bowling
(aka Bad Bowling Bikers Anonymous – name courtesy of Monica!)
We're still bowling every other Wednesday night (next one is on June 4th) at 7pm sharp. Meet our very unprofessional group at Fantasy Lanes at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. George and I pay for 2 lanes for 1 hour - you pay only for your shoes (balls are free - as they should be!). If we go beyond an hour, we all kick in to extend it...
Come and have some fun…when’s the last time YOU had FUN?!?!

Motorcycle Awareness Month Celebration along with the Southern Cruisers Riding Club "Desert Fun Run"
What a day...Bike Show, Iron Pony Rodeo, Skill display by the Indio Police Motor Officers, 100+ mile poker run, Armed Forces Day remembrance, 114 degree temps, lots of beautiful bikes, wonderful people and more - too bad the HEAT beat us all up. Many thanks to all who stuck it out and made it an event to remember. Just an FYI, we were able to raise over $1,000 each for both Hanson House and Mourning Star. Many thanks also to the City of Indio for all their help and support in putting this event on...it would not have been possible without them.
We'd like to thank the following businesses for their sponsorships - by participating (forking out $$$), they've made it obvious that they care about motorcyclist safety here in the desert.
